DWAINE CARAWAY RECEIVES IMA PRESIDENT’S AWARD

"Moving Dallas Forward...One Block at a Time"

DALLAS, TX (February 2, 2007) - In recognition of his longstanding commitment to serving the needs of his community, The Interdenominational Ministerial Alliance of Greater Dallas (IMA) has presented the President’s Award to Dwaine Caraway.

This award was presented at the 42nd annual IMA Human Relations Banquet, which carried the theme of “Strengthening the Family.”  The event was held at the Dallas Trade Mart Grand Pavilion Ballroom.

Dr. S.C. Nash, President of the IMA and Pastor of Mount Tabor Baptist Church, led the charge and delivered an impassioned speech emphasizing the importance of family within the community and the need for elected officials to deliver on campaign promises.  Dr. C.A.W. Clark, pastor of Good Street Baptist Church in Dallas, presided as Chairman of the Banquet and Dr. R.E. Price, Pastor of New Mount Zion Baptist Church of Dallas, served as Co-Chairman.
